A Gent in Overseasia

Author(s): Tony Simpson

General Travel

In 1973 a twenty-eight-year-old Tony Simpson travelled overseas for the first time to a conference in Sweden and then to the Soviet Union, where he found himself to his surprise having lunch with a member of the Politburo and a KGB colonel. He also caught the travel bug for which there is no known cure, and in the intervening fifty years has travelled widely in Europ, Asia and the Americas. Although he lives by choice in Wellington, his favourite place to visit is Venice. In this book he recounts his experiences and the sometimes strange things that happen to him in the land of Overseasia.

This is a used book in good condition, meaning that it shows signs of wear but has no major defects.
